Congratulations to everyone who composed and recorded a video for the 2024 YouTube Recital, "Reuse, Reduce, Recycle", and thank you to everyone who took the time to watch the recital and vote for their favourites over the past week and a half. 


Without further ado, here are this year's winners!

Best Beginner-Level Composition: "Love to Joy" by Cara Meikle

Runner up: "Miguel O'Hara" by Charles Boland

Most Original or Unique: "The Kraken" by Abby Spicer, "Eastminster Bridge" by Charles McLean, and "Foglie d'autunno" by Maya Fredell-McNeil

Students who garnered the most votes will receive $10 Bachs for each category they won or tied in, and this year I'm also throwing in a $4 Bach bonus for first runner-ups (that confirmed voting)!
