This has been quite a year for Maya! After finally receiving the gold medal she won for her exam last year, she was invited to perform last Sunday in the Highwood Festival's Adjudicator Showcase alongside a small selection of the top music students - not only in this year's festival - but in the province. It was quite an honour and quite a concert! A big round of applause for Maya!

The Highwood Festival was last week, and the students of FortePiano Studio performed with pizazz! 

Danae and Katalina, who entered in the Canadian composers and late modern composers categories respectively, both achieved a Distinction certificate, or 89% grades. Well done you two!

Maya performed a romantic era piece and achieved a Superior certificate, or 91%. Excellent performance, Maya!

A big round of applause to all the early risers who practiced hard over the break! Those of you who practiced at least 30 min each morning for 7 days already received $10 Bachs, but today we can announce the winner of the grand prize, a digital floor mat piano!
